I live my life here, so I don't see it as a destination on a daily basis, but how strange to see Vegas and Chicago dominate the top 5...

The hotels are cheaper than the downtown hotels and they are closer to more distant attractions (Six Flags, Sea World, La Cantera, etc.)

geeze, I feel sorry for all those tourists that came to San Diego for Memorial Day b/c the weather was absolute crap! May and June are not good months to visit here b/c of the weather and I don't think too many people realize that.
