Despite being fully booked by naturists wanting to take off and strip off, a German travel company said Thursday it has decided to scrap a special nude flight that had been scheduled for this summer.

The July 5 flight was due to be the first of many and was aimed at east Germans nostalgic for the naturism that was authorised and extremely popular under communist rule.

I can understand enjoying being nude outdoors, at the beach, etc.... but why on a plane? At that point it just becomes strange. Incedentally, I saw a nude beach listed on a map one time and since I was close by I decided to go see it out of curiousity. It was pretty much 90% men, and most were old and overweight. It completely destroyed my fantasy of what a nude beach would be like

It doesn't surprise me the least bit; I think nudism is slowly going out of fashion, young people scarcely practice it nowadays I surmise.
