Default Last Minute Tix Cheap... true?
So I finally remember where I got the notion that last minute airline tickets are sold at discounted prices, The Simpsons.

Anyways is there any truth to this? At times like these when ticket prices are soaring I'm trying to save a buck even if it may mean traveling a few days out of schedule.
