I was 10-years-old, flying from San Diego to San Francisco which is about an hour of a flight. Good way to start it off since I used to get altitude sickness easily.

Washington, DC. My parents rented an apt there for a couple of weeks so we could look around. They thought everyone should see our capital.

I took my first airplane ride at 13 (and unattended) to Memphis to visit family. I flew on Braniff Airlines. The plane was purple!
