You might want to check with the Better Business Bureau website (http.bbb.org). Some of these groups that do seminars have been reported for promoting impossible deals which are virtually impossible to access. My parents went to one (don't know name of group) and when I checked the BBB I found that they've been sued throughout SW Ohio for scams.

We went to a Sun Tree Seminar in fall of 2008 in San Antonio. We were to receive 2 free airline tickets and a stay at a Marriott. PTS Travel has just sent us a letter and returned our $100. I called to see why. Blue Water (another name for Sun Tree) did not pay for their certificates. They said to contact them. Does anyone have a telephone number? I cannot find one. kathrich@sbcglobal.net

Best idea is to stay away from these travel "companies" that offer free deals etc. Its a lot of hassle, mind games, and usually ends up with you fighting for your deposit back or worse. Rarely do you get an actual trip for free. In fact, i dont think ive ever heard of it happening.

Also, i believe the scam company in SW Ohio is SmarTravel, which also runs a legit business.

Stay away from this Company. My wife and I purchased a plan and all we got was our money taken. They will want you to invest into their program where you will from a couple of thousand; but not a lot so they keep you interested. We bought it and were supposed to get two weeks a year at any resort we want, with two 4 day weekends. Then they are only supposed to charge you 199.00 a year for maintenance fee and upkeep of properties. now we cant even find them, their office, phone numbers, or emails.
Stay away.
