I have never been to LAX. How is that airport? Is it huge, easy to find your connecting flight? Any info would be appreciated.

They do have a web page:

LAX sucks, probably one of the worst airports in the world in terms of cleanliness, convenience, layout, etc. It is not easy to find your connecting flight if you travel a different airline or transferring from domestic to international. I've been to 3rd world country airports that are better.

unfortunately it's not that great for the most part it's a pretty old and dilapidated airport.

It is a really gross airport. We had a 6 hour layover coming home from Hawaii b/c a flight was cancelled and I didn't even want to sit in the chairs (they were covered in stains.)

There are many underground tunnels from one terminal to the next...they're really creepy, especially at 2am. Try to be there during "normal" hours.

Guess I will consider myself lucky. We were there in Feb. this year making a connecting flight and they simply shuttled us from one place to another, no problems with connecting on time either.
