I've never been, but would like to visit eventually.

Way too vanilla for my tastes!

Yes, I did go there, spent a week there, driving from Brisbane to Melbourne, but was not impressed, would never go back!

Besides driving on the left, I felt like it was just an extension of the U.S.! Not enough foreign-ness!

I want, very much, to go to Australia. My mom is from there...but been in the US since 1947...so have a LOT of family there. Mom has only been back twice. I have a 'special' savings account that I'm adding to every month to reach this goal! I'm old enough now that if I don't go SOON I may never go.

My husband spent 4.5 years in Navy mostly on an aircraft carrier and been the world over.....Australia and Malta are the only two places he has any desire to revisit.

Been to Australia twice. Once for 3 weeks and once for 4. Loved Great Ocean Road, Wilson's Prom, Melbourne, Sydney. Loved the drive between Melbourne & Sydney. A good deal for us as hubby has relatives who live there.

I have eight friends or relatives who have visited Australia. Every one of them said they enjoyed the visit.
But not one of them is interested in going back.

I would love to go, but not to the cities except for transit purposes. It is a place I'd like to go for wildlife photography.

I was marriend at Trinity Beach (close to Cairns) - beautiful spot.

Pre-marriage my husband and I flew into Sydney, drove down the coast to Melbourne and on to Adelaide and then high-tailed it through the outback through Canberra, back to Sydney and flew to Cairns.

In general I like Australia. Favourite city was Melbourne by far.. didn't care much for Adelaide or Sydney. I would love to go back to see Perth as I only hear good things...maybe to renew our vows!!
