Manchester, England has a big night life scene. It used to be massive - it's not so massive anymore but the reputation for it still holds strong so it still attracts a lot of party people.

In Europe almost every big city has a great nightlife. Just go to the clubs or pubs, there is always party at night.

BERLIN!!
Amsterdam is also close, but Berlin is just insane! The nightlife starts around 11 and goes on until 4am or so. Some of the clubs I have seen in Berlin are just amazing...I went to one called "The Matrix" that had 5 soundproofed clubs playing different music under one roof, now that is what I call COOL!
Nightlife here in Los Angeles is pretty lame unfortunately! And Orange County...YAWN! Nothing going on in OC past bedtime (11pm).
