What are the significant trips you plan to take in 2009?
For me, I plan to visit Singapore/India/Maldives in Feb. and visit South America in Nov. 2009 (exact countries undecided at the moment).
Those are the plans thus far
hi... I'm Sandy...
I'm planning to go at Andalusia, Spain this coming February 16, 2009. That's going to be my birthday and I want to put a little adventure on it.. I'll go surfing...
Looking at Europe (to visit our son) in April/May. Might stop in Spain, but for sure France will be a destination.
We've never been to the Normandy beaches, would like to see Brittany too.
Never been overseas in my life, but I'd certainly love to go to London. Courtesy of City-data, I've met some great people, one of them who lives in Wales. And that individual (Lincolnshire) and myself would go around the record shops in the area buying the heck out of British Invasion records and memorabilia!
Moab/ Arches National Park/ Canyonlands National Park/ Dead Horse Point State Park/ Fisher Towers, etc., Utah, next May when all the desert wildflowers will be in bloom.
Next August, Mesa Verde National Park/ Telluride/ Ouray/ Silverton/ the Durango-Silver Train/ Million Dollar Highway/ Durango/ Pagosa Springs, Colorado; the Cumbres and Toltec Train/ Brazos Cliffs/ Santa Fe/ Carlsbad Caverns National Park, making sure to see the bats leave the caves at night and enter the caves in the morning/ White Sands National Monument/ Albuquerque/ the road through Jemez, Los Alamos, etc., New Mexico. : )

I budgeted my 3 weeks trip to Puerto Vallarta from Europe for 2 adults and a child at LESS THAN 5.000 $
I'll be going to L.A. in March, partly for a convention and the rest for sightseeing. I may extend my trip to include San Diego, where I have family who would like me to visit. Hopefully I can squeeze all this in in four days!
