Default Airfares coming down?

We all know the fuel prices have come down at the pump significantly. Will airfares follow with lower airfares? When?

Not right away, no.

And I wouldn't count on reversals of their new charges, either (1st check-in, 2nd check-in, snacks, etc.).

If fuel stays down and shows stability for a couple of years then we may see some price wars again. I don't think it will ever go back to what it was, though.

Not sure of your locale, but Jetblue, out of Atlantic City A/P was only $49.00 one way
to Daytona, this past summer.

I say no. I heard then read that prices for flights were already down for upcoming holiday season but have checked and found them to be higher than last year.

They are higher than in the past. Now that its cheaper to drive It seems that people who have that option will go that route and the airlines will lose out on their business I bet if airfares came down to what they once were they would get a ton of business even after the holidays and with this economy.
