Post News, Airline Crew Ties Unruly Passenger To Seat With Duct Tape Until Plane Lands.

Charlotte, NC (AHN) - A United Airlines flight crew have tied an unruly passenger to her seat to restrain her until the plane landed in North Carolina to surrender her to police.

Maria Esther Castillo, 45, of Oswego, New York, has been charged with interfering with the operation of a flight crew and resisting arrest before a federal court in Charlotte city. A hearing on her detention is set on Thursday.

As a flight attendant, I can tell you that her behavior must have been totally off the charts for them to do something like this. People have no idea how crazy some of our passengers can get. We will put up with a whole lot before we would ever even consider something this drastic. (We might be tempted but wow, this is wild!)

Sounds like a lot of paperwork for that crew!! LOL

Well you know what...If someone is going to act like that then good for them for restraining her...Why wait til someone is hurt, etc..
