I've always flown Delta since I was a kid so maybe I'm just used to em but I don't think anyone else has them beat. I sure do miss Song though.

I used to love Northwest and now that they're partnered, I can get the miles when using their other airlines.
Southwest is my favorite flying south. I think their non-stop to Jax is the best. Continental used to do it back in the 90's, but their tickets ran around 600 dollars at the time.
Continental to Hawaii is a nice accommodating trip.

I no longer have any favorite airlines. I actually no longer care to fly unless I absolutely had to.

Of all the carriers, I prefer Southwest because they are efficient, on time, and their employees are clearly happy which makes for a better flying experience. I've been on flights where the cabin crew erupted in song, cracked jokes, and even the pilots sometimes make you laugh. It helps get through the general stress and frustrations of flying.

Of the American ones I'd pick American because every time I've flown with them I've been very pleased however of any I'd pick Lufthansa or KLM.

I like Southwest best, but United and then American are the two largest airlines at LAX and have the most flights so we usually end up flying on those two. United usually treats us pretty good because my husband is Global Service status with them, but I like the more casual feel of SWA the best.

If Southwest went more places out of Dallas, I'd fly with them. Since American practically has the market cornered at DFW, I fly them 95% of the time. Their service is fine, it's their prices because of the lack of competition at DFW that I find annoying. Where they compete heavily with Southwest out of Dallas (Houston, Austin, New Orleans, etc.), airfares are dirt cheap.

Qantas, though they are getting a little...patchy. Or maybe they always have been, and the media is having more and more slow news days.
