Altra,

The most important thing you can do in advance of your trip, is to get a malaria prophylaxis prescription from your doctor. Most of the medications on the market have to be started a couple of weeks before you actually enter the country. I took a product called "Lariam" and have had no problem with it.
Getting malaria will not only spoil your vacation, but there is no cure.

Enjoy Kenia.

Which country are you from? Depending on your country of origin, you may need a Kenya visa to enter Kenya. Make sure you have a passport. Although immunization is not mandatory, take precautions and take some malaria tablets. Kenya has a tropical climate so pack medium to light clothing.
