Yes, Hawaii airfare is HIGH! United was having a sale but it ended Jan. 3rd.

Cabo is AWESOME! Spring Break is really a great time to go there even with kids.

We have not stayed at a Marriott timeshare but there are many of them around all over. Most are fairly new and very nice. They are building a new one down in Aruba and already have a few properties on that island. If you can look online w/ your friend and see what is available and check the airfares to each location that will give you a better idea of what is possible for this trip.

Now my wife is considering taking the kids (three) to Disney World in Orlando. I've been there as an adult, without children, and it was not Spring Break, and it was a cluster f***! I vowed next time that I would stay on the property just so I can pay up and skip the lines, even if only short lines for a couple of hours.

So, do any of you have any experience going to Disney World during Spring Break? Good, or bad accounts welcomed.

My wife's efforts have been towards Disney World, mine have been either skiing, or a beach somewhere in Mexico, or the Caribbean, possibly even Hawaii. The kids will have fun, and so will we. I just can't see having much fun waiting for 45 minutes, or more for a ride that lasts, at most, two minutes! The Time Share is valid at many places around the world as well.

Regards
Depends on when your spring break actually falls. We have friends, about 6 different families, that go every year for spring break. They all say the same thing...it's crowded. For most parents, they don't want to take their child(ren) out of school for a week so that is why they get stuck going during that time. I have never been but I know that some of the water parks reach capacity during that time of year. I know last year, there was a family that was turned away from one of the water parks at 11:30 am because the park had already reached capacity. I am not a 'crowd' person...at all! So we go to Disney in May when everyone is still in school and it's a good time to go.

I wouldn't go there during spring break.....it is too crowded for me. Can you go during the winter months when it is not so crowded? Don't the kids get the same amount of time for winter break as spring break?
