Vacation Ideas
I really want to take a nice, creative, inexpensive mini vacation for spring break. I was wondering if any of you had any creative ideas for vacation. I would love to go camping, biking, whitewater rafting, etc. Give me your best vacation ideas!

From which state are you traveling? Do you want to drive or fly to your vacation destination?

I will more than likely be traveling from Evansville, IN. I have no preference when it comes to driving or flying. I am willing to do both.

Natural Bridge State Park, Slade, KY
Mammoth Cave National Park, Cave City, KY
Fall Creek Falls State Park, McMinnville, TN
None of those will be very expensive.

Well,
Even today people just can't seem to get enough of Lake Minnetonka. The beauty of Lake Minnetonka is just too much to ignore. There are a number of different boat cruises available all up and down Lake Minnetonka. Most of these boat cruises are extremely affordable. Many of them provide tourists with catering, bar services and full amenities backed by a large number of well trained professional staff.
A number of these boat cruises are able to charter groups from ten people all the way up to eighty people. Lake Minnetonka is also popular for sailboat racing. The Wayzata Yacht Club provides seminars as well plays host to a number of sailboat races each and every year. Overall Lake Minnetonka is a great place to take a boat cruise. A Lake Minnetonka boat cruise can be fun for the entire family, and is extremely affordable.

This might be a little far for you since you're coming from Evansville, but I went to Lake Havasu City, Arizona for spring break 7 years ago. We camped at the state park and did a lot of hiking, biking, went to a couple nightclubs. Lake Havasu is (was, idk) one of Travel Channels top 10 Spring Break destinations. The weather would be warm and is ideal for camping that time of year.
Another idea is Table Rock Lake near Branson, Missouri. This is starting to become a hotter destination because of it's mild climate. Boating and hiking are popularI have a condo there. If you want more info, DM me. Thanks!!
