How does flying affect you if you have vertigo or does it? I have a quick flight to Houston and back Wed, and go to Vegas Saturday. I'm kinda worried I will get really dizzy, if I get dizzy for too long ... I will get sick!

I have occasional bouts of vertigo. I've gotten dizzy a few times when flying and ALWAYS have problems with my ears so I now use Earplanes; which are ventilated plugs I put in before take-off and again before landing. If it's a short flight I don't bother removing them until I reach my destination. They work wonders for me. I won't fly without them. They seem to sell them at all the shops in the airport now too.
Seems like the few times I've gotten dizzy were the times I forgot to insert Earplanes.

Try some sort of "motion sickness" drug--Bonine....or Benadryl....That should take care of it!

I have severe vertigo and fly all the time, it does not effect me. If you're concerned ask for an aisle seat and it'll be like sitting in a movie theatre with people all around you.

I flew today to Houston for work and back, and survived ... so I'm sure I'll be just fine for Vegas Saturday!
