Will drive from St. Louis MO to Washington D.C this week, plan to stop for a night on the way, anybody got any suggestions?

It would help considerably if you tell us which route you are planning to take to get to DC. Also, what is the time of day that you will be leaving. If you are leaving at 7 pm, the answer will be different than if you leave at 8 am.

The trip is 13 hours. Assuming you are heading east on I-64, I would stop at Huntington, WV if you are planning to stop halfway. Otherwise, I would stop at Charleston, WV.
