I have been to Turkey many times, always had fun, go see the Grand Bazare, eat Koffke, and don't listen to negative talk.

Probably a good trip for many to take. It would remind them of some of the freedoms taken for granted in the US.

I enjoyed Istanbul but not the pushy carpet business! Fascinating city, great food! I was surprised by the countryside, I don't know what I expected but there were more trees and farmland than I thought there would be.

I went to Turkey a few years ago, via cruise ship, and loved it! I was a little nervous at first only because of some bombings that happened a little before I went, but everyone was great to us and we really enjoyed our day there. I loved all of the history, and was wondering how, according to a previous poster, how they have ruined it...Dot
