Default Cheap tickets?

We are originally from Germany and travel there every couple of years and family comes over here every couple of years. Its that time again, and we are having a hard time finding cheap tickets. What is your favorite/cheap airline/website for European travel?

I've always had good luck with Orbitz...but I'm not sure if that is available starting outside the US. but maybe you can find a good one way back to Europe at least.

I have had good luck with travelocity.

She said cheapest . Currently the Berlin/STL route runs under $1000 with Delta being the cheapest. Delta EU is a completely different animal than Delta US. Once in the US IMHO JetBlue without a doubt. Here's a site that may be helpful: Airline Seating Charts - Best Airplane Seats - SeatGuru. But since they are in St. Louis who really wants to cart luggage from one airline to another. With Delta you drop off your luggage in St. Louis and the next time you see it in Germany. On the way back Delta customs is pretty easy. Pick up on one side, go through customs and give it back to them on the other side of the room.

We really should have a sticky at the top of the page for this question.
Anyway, a few of my favorite sites:

Cheap Flights at Eurotrip
(takes awhile to load, but the advice is well worth it. Click on the Cheap Flights forum.)

ITA
Click on Search Airfare and Guest.

Yapta
Yapta saved me a lot of $ on a recent trip to Europe.

Try this website, I think it has lots of advice and links -> here's the link Travel

Also, try a travel agent.. then compare what they find you with what you can find online by yourself.
