Hi everyone, I was planning a trip to Canada with my family. I don’t have much idea on that place and I am still preparing my plans to visit the country. I would like to know from the travelers as what are the places I should be visiting there and any suggestions and advices would be welcome.

Thanks in advance!

Canada's a pretty darn big country, I think you need to give us a better idea of what part of Canada you're thinking about visiting.

Also keep in mind that you'll all need passports to cross the border.

I ahve to disagree. I've met some wonderful, friendly, welcoming people in Quebec.

I've highlighted the key word in that sentence.

From East to West, in this beautiful & friendly country (including Quebec if you can speak at least a little French): Nova Scotia (well, all the Maritimes), Montreal, Toronto, Lake Louise area, Vancouver ... there are many many others.

Quebec City is one of the most charming and beautiful cities in the world, IMO. A great place to visit.

Canada covers almost 4 million square miles, at least give us a clue of what area of the country you are visiting. Do you really expect us to give you a review of every province?

My first choice would be Calgary and the Canadian Rockies up through Banff, Lake Louise, and Jasper.

Second would be the Atlantic and Maritimes.

Third would be Vancouver and the Island.

Fourth would be Toronto to Quebec City.

Based on my personal experience visiting all of th above. I'm also fond of Winnipeg, but wouldn't make a special trip there.
