None of these. I pick Santa Cruz-Monterey, or San Francisco; however, I usually go in late summer. I don't like to leave Portland in July or August since they are the only reliably good summery months here.

Nothing beats floating down a cool, clear Ozark river in my kayak, rum punch in my hand, sun on my face and a rope swing just ahead! Mink, otter and birds searching along the shore. Only twice so far this year...too much rain!

Oh yeah, my husband comes along also.
