Interstate Exit Guides (highways, money, adventure)

One of the most valuable tools I owned when I was a long haul trucker was an "Exit Guide" It is a book that shows what businesses are close to the off-ramp at every Interstate Hwy Exit in the U.S. and some major Canadian highways. (I'm sure it's also available on DVD now, too) It also shows rest areas and even tells you which side of the highway the exit is on and if highway re-entry is difficult or impossible. They're available at most truck stops and travel plazas. Happy motoring!

Great info! The next time I am near a truck stop or travel plaza, I'll try to pick up one of these "exit guides."

Almost forgot; they also show the available RV/truck parking available at or near the exit.

Is a travel enabler really all that bad, Chief? I've been called worse, but usually after eating the last piece of pie or some chocolaty, sugary, peanuty, frosting'd thing...
