I lived on one of the pet-friendly beaches listed, Cape San Blas, for just under 2 years, and it is every bit as beautiful as the pic, if not more so, unspoiled and pristine. The best part (IMHO) is that you could walk for 45 minutes and not meet a soul. This is a rural area so there are no ice cream stands, no pop machines--no high rises. I saw the Green Flash at Cape San Blas.
Jekyll Island is lovely as well, as is Cumberland, with its mansion ruins and wild horses.
My beach (scroll down) isn't too shabby, either.

To me that's a list of beaches to avoid at all cost!

It very well could be, but the place creeps me out for other reasons. I know they're irrational; yet I don't feel like visiting it ever.

They're nice! I grew up by a sea and I'll always miss it.

The beaches of Dalmatia are beautiful.
Sierra, the pet-friendly beaches at Cape San Blas are not exactly crowded.

I think Coney Island's beach is very good for the locals.

Ambergris Caye Beaches
Hi.
I live on an Island known as Ambergris Caye in Belize, and we have been blessed with some of the most beautiful white sandy beaches in the world.

I love Trunk Bay in St. Johns, it's wonderful.
