Hi. We are heading out to Vegas soon and were thinking of booking a helicopter tour from Vegas to the Grand Canyon. It is difficult to choose a company even with reviews. Are there specific things to look for when choosing. Our course our main concern is safety. Thanks in advance.

Joycie

Ask at tripadvisor.com - they have reviews but also a forum where you can ask. Some of the people there are extremely knowledgable.

We used Grand Canyon Tours - Las Vegas Tours - Papillon

Did the Grand Canyon and Hoover Dam etc. It was 4 years ago (god i've been married 4 years!!) and was excellent. Picked up from the hotel and the pilot was really nice.

One of my most enjoyable visits to Vegas was a side trip to the Grand Canyon on a twin engined prop aircraft with seven other people. If my memory serves me correctly we took a shuttle van from LV to Henderson to board. Pilot let me sit in the co pilots seat on the way. I think this outfit was called Air Bridge but it was several years ago and not clear if they are still in business.
