Post News, Will a passenger bill of rights ever fly?

— Airfarewatchdog wonders how many potential airline customers are refusing to fly until they can be assured that they won’t be trapped in a cramped airplane parked overnight on a tarmac. Every time another news story appears detailing the suffering of passengers in such situations, with no food or working lavatories, no doubt another few hundred flyers take to their cars and Greyhound.

basically travelers use to be treated very well;but cherap prices brought that to a end. They will eventaully do so good but will raise prices in the end. Nothing is free.

I wish! But the fact is that no matter how many people complain or how many nasty experiences we have, the airlines know they have us over a barrel and can continue to treat their paying customers like dirt. Let's face it, there is no other viable option to get from A to B whether it's a domestic or international trip. Until Congress has the balls to seriously investigate the abuses carried out by the airline industry and enforce some regulations that will curtail the appalling treatment they dish out every day, we (the paying customer) are screwed.
