Default ?s BTV-JFK-CDG-BRE 12/09 A380!

Hello guys,

I'll be heading to Germany this xmas with my mother and girlfriend. Air France was the cheapest and I was also very happy to see that we'll be flying on the A380. With this trip comes new experinces and I'd like a bit of info on all this.
I read many trip reports from the A380 and tried for AF.

Does the tail cam come standard with all A380's? I would love to watch my plane and it would be cool to see the cockpit view (ironally I usally fly on "wing view" on flight sim).

General thoughts on the A380? Can we wonder around upstairs too or is that blocked off? What about other classes? I'm with a first-time flyer and would like to give her the tour.

We're flying coach, how are the meals on the planes? I've flown KLM and BA years ago, how do they compare. I really enjoyed BA's meal.

When we check in in BTV, can we put our bags through all the BRE? Its a DL/AF codeshare.

I was unable to select the CDG to BRE seats, when can I do that? Guess its a short flight and everyone doesn't mind sitting apart if that happens.

We have seats 43 and 46--on the A380, are there any window "but not really" seats to be aware of? I remember I was younger and was sooooo happy to get a window seat on BA 747-200 out of YUL only to sit down and find it blocked by the wall.

JFK....traffic...winter...How will the International push and possible wx delay affect my flight (yeah yeah hard to tell at this point) flying out on the JFK-CDG runI think thats it for now.
Thanks!

i never fly on the A380 but i would imagine that it would like any other plane if you are flying coach you wotn be able to go to the other classes. going to jfk in the winter could take standard time or 3 times longer then you planned(almost missed my flight to spain 2 years ago)

for the best seats on a plane i would check out seatguru.com, it has information on which seats are standard or which ones are better vs which ones are worse.

if you connection is not on airfrance, then you cant select the seats on the airfrance website go to the website of the carrier that you are flying from cdg
enjoy your trip
