Travel Forums
Nothing wrong with travel information here at city-data, but I was wondering if anyone knows of any good forums dedicated to nothing but traveling? Thanks a lot!

Fodor's has some great, active forums. And flyertalk has some great travel forums as well.

FlyerTalk.com - especially for frequent business travelers and those in the industry
lonelyplanet.com - large Australian and European contingent - more geared to backpackers.

The Lonely Planet thorntree forum is for all types of travel, not just backpackers.
If I want tips on hotels, etc though I use tripadvisor and I contribute to it frequently.

I like many of the previous posters' suggestions.
I also use Eurotrip.
It is a budget travel forum, but much of the travel advice can apply to anyone.
Eurotrip's "Cheap Flights" section cannot be beat.
I have found some really good deals posted there.
The Transportation forum is very helpful, as well.
