Suggestions for Christmas Trip?
I need some ideas for our family Christmas trip. There are Four adults (maybe six?), three pre-teen to teenagers. We would like to try snowboarding, but the most important thing is that we are all together. It's been a tough year for my family, so we want a change of scenery.
We've thought of the Smokey Mountains in TN, Branson Missouri, New Mexico, and Arizona.
Any recommendations?
Thanks a bunch.

Park City, Utah. Fly into SLC and drive the 40 minutes or so to PC. You can rent a house, so that you're all together.

I see you are from NC and want a change of scenery. I know what you mean, our family has had a really tough year and we've decided to go to Mexico- on a cruise. Now that's a change of scenery!
You can get a cabin where the 1st 2 people are like 200 bucks and the next 2 are 100 bucks each, do this for 2 rooms. Try snorkeling instead of snowboarding...visit Mayan ruins on horseback instead of a warm fire.
Just an idea.

I second MAK802's suggestion.
But New Mexico also can be beautiful during the holidays, and would definitely be a change of scenery.

What about a dude ranch in the Rockies that's also close to the ski resorts?
