Yup, I do it all the time. It never leaves my purse and I don't put it in the ziploc and have never had a problem.

Just make sure it is 3 ounces or less, or course.

I once had my hand santizer taken off me, despite being less than 3 ounces. I asked why and they couldn't give me an answer - probably just someone on a power trip. Can't remember which airport. I just bought from more hand santizer in the pharmacy at the airport.

If you declare it in the ziplock bag, and its in the original package, and its under 3 oz, all is good. Otherwise TSA can take it away pending additional screening.

The most common sanitizers that have little problems with TSA are the little towels in the packages.

Our company provides us with the Purell sanitizing hand wipe. 28 of them are just under 3 oz, more than enough for a single person.

Get the travel size one from Target and you should be fine - it's just 1fl oz

Default hand sanitizer

I carry the 1oz bottles from Bath & body works, usually have 2 different scents in my purse. It just occurred to me and I knew C-D would have the answer!!

I also pack Lysol wipes in a baggie to wipe down the armrests and table.

My wife bought shoe covers similar to what doctors wear, for going through security. I've had many fellow travelers ask if they could have mine after I've gone through--so many smelly sweaty feet! I've also seen folks using baggies to cover their feet.
