In February Im doing something big. Im going on a multicity trip to the worlds biggest and most fascinating cities. I start my trip by flying to New york city from minneapolis where I live. I will then fly to London then on to Paris. After leaving there I will end my trip in Los Angeles. I plan on spending exactly five days in each city. What Im having dificulty with is deciding what to see in each city. I do have a good idea of what I want to see but Im having trouble deciding which attraction is worth seeing and this will be my first time going to these places. Ive read several guide books but they just give too much information. Ex. In Fodors Paris the louvre is described in a one page paragraph. This is the same issue with other guidebooks. As a result of this I end up becoming confused about what to see in the cities.

Many of the world's biggest and most fascinating cities are in countries for which US passport holders need a visa.

You've got your visas all lined up? Or you're just going to London, Paris, and LA?

If you're getting information overload with guidebooks check out wikitravel (Free Worldwide Travel Guides - Wikitravel), it is the perfect tool to give you a gist of a place with highlights of the most interesting sights.
