I'm in IT and need to bring 4 laptops with me (being deployed to new employees) on a business trip this Sunday.

I don't want to pack them on my checked luggage, so I'd like to bring all 4 of them in a backpack as carry on.

Does anyone see an issue with this? I don't want to get to the security line and be denied!

I could ship them but I need to make sure they get there this Monday and since I'm going there, I'd like to just take them with me.

If it is international travel you could be questioned, as they may believe you will be selling them.

How about showing *paperwork* to the desk clerk explaining what you are planning and must do ?

If they give you *problems*, I'd say, pack them up in their original boxes if you still have them, and check them in.

Yes, you can bring them with no problem. My husband travels with multiple laptops for work pretty much every other week and has never had an issue. And he never checks luggage.
