While I've been to AZ before, this is my first time in Sedona. It's very pretty out here!

Missouri. One of four states that has NO daily use fee in state parks (others are IL NC PA). There are over 800 state conservation areas, where you can wander outdoors on sprawling public land (prepare for ticks and chiggers) and camp free, miles from the highway, in most of them. "Lettered" highways wander beautifully all over the state--often narrow, but always paved. Very friendly, open people.
