I have a couple vacation rentals in the North Carolina Mountains. I have noticed lots of Europeans in the Asheville area, however I have not rented to them. I would love to welcome Europeans to my home, however I am not sure how to market my properties. Any suggestions of where to market my homes to attract Europeans? Thanks!

Craigslist would seem to be worth a try.

If you speak German, or may have a friend near you who speaks German, go here,
Impressum
and list your rentals.

Else DM me and maybe I can help you fill out the forms.

These people, maintain a database of rentals in the USA.

I'm not so sure. I had never heard about Craiglist before moving to the USA. Could work for Europeans who live in the USA, though...

Thanks everyone! I use Asheville Craigslist with some success. I think CL is kind of a USA thing although they have sites all over the world.

Irman, thank you for the offer! I might just take you up on it. Is advertising free on Impressum? Is there a USA section?

Then below you fill in what you are looking for.
If they happen to want to go to the area YOU have your properties, they will find your offers.

Dunno, you have to start filling in the data and then see what the results may be. If there is a cost, ..... worth it ??? If free .... whoopee ...

I have never used their services, but I have used similar services in Europe (we lived in Germany and rented a *Ferienhaus* in Denmark). I just paid the cost for one week, but have no idea how much the *SERVICE* got ....

Go here:
Ferienhäuser und Ferienwohnungen in USA
and see how some properties are listed.
A lot of locations in South Carolina, and NONE in North Carolina ....

Go here:
http://www.weltweit-urlaub.de/servic...ormular-en.php
for info in English, and you can start there.
Looks like free to advertise or list, but 15% when you rent out.
Just be careful and make sure you understand all YOUR obligations !!!

I am looking for more On-Line services,
so hang on.

I also suggest to just Google for *vacation home rentals*.
List your properties in USA databases.
Unlike Americans NOT speaking European languages, Europeans most often speak English.
Especially those who want to stay in the USA for more than one day, in one place.
They may just Google in the USA sites to find a place to stay ....
It is all about *Marketing* !!!
