A) $10,000 to be spent anywhere, anytime, with the only condition that it be while travelling or for purposes of travel;

or

B) An 75" flat-screen 3D HDTV, a fully paid-for high-speed internet connection for three years to stream HD travel films and videos from Youtube, Netflix, and other sources as well as view travel pictures and Google Street View, and a Blu-Ray collection of over 100 travel-related films. Also, a incredible home theater sound system. Total value, around $10,000. The catch: you can't sell any of it.

What would rather have?

LIke would I rather go off into the sunset, even to Detroit, or stay at home and watch The Real House Bimbos of Seattle?

I'd buy a round the world ticket with Cathay Pacific.
Hubby bought a surround sound and fancy TV and we have over 800 DVD's, a subscription to netflix via the vios TV/internet subscription..... I don't even turn the TV on most days. I probably watch about 5 hours a week.... give me travel. My friend just clocked up his 75th country on his trip advisor map - I'm starting a competition

Easily Option A. I know so many places in the world I would love to travel to.

Option B is not desirable to me since I don’t even like television the vast majority of the time. Last year, I didn’t have TV for 8 months and I didn’t miss it at all.

Having a TV is such an overrated concept for entertainment, especially since the Computer has taken over for the past 15 years, and with all the other forms of entertainment available that involves no TV.

Option A, without any doubt whatsoever. I'd rather be an actor in the travel shoot, not a spectator of someone else's. Just the thought of Option A makes me think longingly about my Venice/Croatia trip coming up in May/June.
