All kidding aside, I do enjoy both flying and long road trips. With the road trips though, some things have to be figured in before I can really enjoy it. I want to be able to have a good conversation with whoever I'm with. When I'm not driving, I want to be able to relax and not have to try to navigate the whole time somebody else is driving. I can't enjoy the sights as much if I have to sit there worrying about where we need to turn. I also obviously have to have the time to go where I'm going and not seem to be in a rush. If those things can't happen, I'll fly.

With that said, I do think that the planning of the trip is often more fun than the getting there part.
