We are planning a trip to one or all of these places this December and would love some feedback.Bascially Im looking for info on-
Is it safe for 2 young Americans to go(husband/wife early 30's) non traditionally traveling i.e backbacks and no reservations.
What would you stay away from?
What would you recomend seeing?
Our primary goal is to dive the Red Sea.
Is this wise, and if so where would you dive from?
Thank you so much in advance! Any info is greatly appreciated!
Wow, what an odd combo of places. Red Sea and Egypt make sense but Curacao is an oddball.
If I was diving the Red Sea, I would either stay in Eliat or Sharm-el-Sheikh. Both are good. If I had already paid the big dollar to get to the Med, I would go dive the Maldives or Seychelles over Curacao any day. It's not so hard to get to the Caribbean.... Might as well see something more exotic you are already close to. Or Tahiti. Figi.
Safe is all relative. If you have the guts to grab a pack and just go, I'm guessing you will be fine. I like that kind of travel but I usually make reservations if I want to stay in an area for a while.
