Does anyone know of a location in the U.S. where they do trips where you actually ride the camels? I have found a few locations where you lead the camel while it carries your supplies but I want to ride the camels. Any ideas?

I can't help you with US camel rides but we've gone on a trek in Pushkar India and would offer a warning that you get sore real quick. If the camels are trotting you can actually see 18 inches of daylight between saddle and arse of the riders.

Suggestion = take a shorter camel trip to make sure it's your thing.

Also suggestion = take a picture of the camel's toe.
