He will be there the 13th of December thru February. I've been looking all over the web for RV parks and rentals and have come up with zip. I'm not even sure what cities would be close to that! I've tried Prescott and Burbank and Waitsburg? I think. Any suggestions or help would be appreciated!!

There is an RV park near Horn Rapids, but that's not particularly convenient. Is DH coming in an RV or camper, or does he want to rent a room, apartment, house? There are several motels around that will rent by the week/month.You are in general right though, the rental market here is pretty tight.

Surely there's a rental house in Burbank, which is a pretty pleasant and quiet community reasonably convenient to the lower Snake dams.

He may be able to park and camp at Windust Park whcih is just downstream from the dam. It's probably about a 5 minute drive from the park to the dam. You will need to contact the park ranger station, if they have one at Windust or contact the local ranger station in the Tri Cities.
