We are looking for auctions - auto, estates, and farm related, but have not found where they are advertised. We want to know a bit in advance so that we can get there before they start. Is there one or more places where auctioneers post or advertise? Thanks.

You'll see county auctions of property for things like past due taxes in the Tri-City Herald Public Announcements sections. Haven't been to one myself yet. I have been to a property auction by Williams & Williams I think they're called, they're online and national but have had local stuff in the past. You can also go on to the hud.gov page and find links to gov't auctions for repossessions of homes and other things, sometimes there's local stuff there as well.

Default Thanks, auctions

Thanks, we are actually looking more for the estate or farm type of auctions. I will look up those ones mentioned online, but does anyone know about other local auctions? We are looking for things like tractors and implements, furniture, cars, gardening stuff, household, antiques, welding, building and other stuff like that. We are looking for deals on stuff that we need, while still paying our other bills.

In places we have lived in the past, papers like the Mini-Nickle published these, but I haven't seen any listings there.

Since a lot of people have looked, but not replied, anyone know the names of auctioneers? Perhaps we can get on their email lists. I am sure they want as many people to know as possible as it increases their sale prices and commissions - good for them and the people who hired them to sell their stuff.
