Though I live in Yakima I am catching a flight from Tri-Cities airport on Saturday 18th June as there is a direct flight to San Francisco.
I know it's a smallish airport and the flight departs at 6.10am, it is the first time I have used this airport. How much time should I allow at this airport for arrival, parking, check-in and TSA screening?
Hopefully a lot less than the 2 hours at large airports, typically at Yakima airport 20 minutes is perfectly safe (just wish they had more flights to more places).

An hour early is fine. Parking is very easy and the security line isn't that long, nor are the check-in lines. Tri-Cities has only one terminal with five gates and two baggage carousels; only a few airlines come here. There is simply a limit to how many people have a reason to be there at any one time. TSA is unremarkable here, mostly look like they quit Wal-Mart to work security for better benefits.

If you have occasion to return to the tri-cities from SF in the winter, you'll probably want to use a different airline with a connecting flight. The departure terminal for Allegiant is crowded and uncomfortable, and when a flight gets cancelled due to ice or snow on the runway, you really want to be someplace else. I've had to take alternate flights to Spokane and rent a car to get home a couple of times, and it's better to get stuck there than SF.
