BBQ and Teriyaki Hole-in-the-Walls?
I routinely travel through the Tri-Cities. I was wondering if there are any good BBQ places that somebody could recommend? I like baby-backs, pork brisket, or a good pulled-pork sandwich. I don't like real spicy sauce, however. Any good places in the Tri-Cities?
Also, I like a good teriyaki chicken. They're a dime a dozen in the Puget Sound area ...kind of like Starbucks; seems like there's one on every corner. I have my doubts that the Tri-Cities would have a good teriyaki joint but who knows. Can anybody tell me if there are any at all even if they aren't that good?
Thanks.

BBQ
-Cousin's I think in Pasco, Rd. 68, not a bad place
-Applebee's? Sure its a chain but there's plenty of them
Teriyaki
-Toeshi Teriyaki in Kennewick, near the mall, never been there but I know someone who loves it.

For some odd reason people in the Tri-Cities love chain fast foods restaurants...

Thanks, Mustang34, I'll check them out next time I'm through there.
*laughs* why do you find that odd, Balco? It seems like the entire country loves fast food.

That is why so many people are overweight. Fast Food is not natural and full of bad ingredients are cause all kinds of illnesses, cancers, and diseases.
Tri-Cities could use some natural restauarants, Whole Foods, or a Trader Joes. We don't educate ourselves on nutrtion and or we simply don't care.
Sorry for off the topic rooco...

Ah, gotcha, Balco. Yes I certainly agree with what you said.
Although I try to eat a healthy and natural diet when home, I do like to "indulge" every now and then. Yeah, I know I'll regret it later but I try not to overdo it.
Yeah, I'm interested. Let's start a new thread.

My favorite teriyaki place in Bento in Richland in the Winco store. It is family owned, clean, delicious and healthy. They have a daily lunch special. My husband and I go every Tuesday for the Beef Teri special.

Thanks, movin! I'll remember that. How are the prices and the portions?

The special in usuallly $6 and we always get an order of egg rolls and each take home leftovers. It is not actually in the Winco store, just the same shopping area/parking lot, in a strip mall next door.

Ok, thanks! Is that the Winco in the Columbia Point area? ...surrounded by a big golf course?
