Well, one year into living in Washington County, OR (which is where Portland's Hispanic community is concentrated), having striven to try as many Mexican places as we could, and still nothing to make me forget about Hacienda del Sol, or 3 Margaritas, or Cinco de Mayo, or Inca, even El Chapala or Garibaldi. I hope all of you regularly go out and enjoy the greatness that is TC Mexican dining, because I am not bsing you when I tell you that in at least this culinary area, what you have is better across the board (and I was never in any sense of the word an automatic, reflexive booster of TC anything; it had to earn it). And if the comparison were Boise vs. TC, it almost gets amusing. I think I'd put Prosser or Toppenish up against Boise from a Mexican food standpoint and just gather up chips and salsa to watch the effortless pounding, the valley towns taking care of Pasco's light work.

It is my understanding that Kiko's Tacos is now temporarily closed, are they as good as they were before the pandemic? I remember not being as impressed with Kiko's the last time I was there in the Fall of 2019, I unfortunately never made it back there.

I now live in Texas near Austin and the guys who owned Casa Chapala in Kennewick has opened up another Casa Chapala restaurant in the north part of Austin, I thought they were great although a bit spendy.
