Well, finally got around to trying Fat Olive's yesterday, had the Black Angus burger, really good burger and salad, but with ice tea to drink, the bill was close to $20. 100 yards or less away you can get a much less pretentious burger basket at Spudnuts for I think a little over $5. Not saying that Fat Olive's is not worth it, but that it is a bit on the spendy side.

Apparently, That Place, on University near the Bypass, which has been closed for several months due to the owner dying of cancer (!) is in the process of re-opening as a sushi and teriyaki place.

Out in Prosser, Maggie's Place (old Blue Goose) has apparently sold to a new owner, not sure what they are going to do with it, but the "For Sale" signs are gone and there are signs of activity inside.

Do you know any restaurant that still serves a liver & onion meal?

I know Cousin's Restaurant in Pasco serves that meal. Any other?

Pretty sure Country Gentleman does. They moved out toward Badger Road some years back. You can probably look up their menu online. It would surprise me if Sterling's didn't have liver and onions, locations in Richland and Kennewick.

Country Gentleman's online menu shows no liver and onions. No L&O meal on Sterling's menu.

In Yakima, the best one can be found at Powerhouse Grill.

That really surprises me. Seems like something they'd just automatically have.

I'm pretty sure Andy's and Andy's North (Odd place, same restaurant has 2 locations within rock throwing distance of each other, on either side of Court Street in Pasco) has L&O available. They are a good, old-fashioned restaurant, I don't get over there much but I do like them.

Last Sunday I stopped at Andy's and asked the hostess for a L&O meal. She smiled and said she loves it but Andy's does not offer. Oh, my. It caused me to put my question in this thread.

Mitch, what's that place just off Vista Way in Kennewick, right near a Chase bank? Totally old school diner? Color scheme white and chocolate brown, NE side of the street? I forget the name, obviously, but it seems like a place where one might check the menu for L&O.

Yes. this place is Hill's Restaurant & Lounge. I went there but it was closed for a private party. I will return to find out about the L&O.

Is Country Gentleman still doing well years after they moved out to W. Clearwater? I know this was a popular stop when they were on 395 near Clearwater. I have visited a couple of times since the move, and the food is still good, but I wonder if the location is meeting their expectations.
