Default Worst places for traffic accidents (slick roads)

What are the worst intersections in Tri-Cities for slick conditions? I have to assume the corner of Union and Canal Dr. when Union has the hill leading into Canal

I think any road in Tricities is bad because people around here don't know how to drive in the snow And, I think we must only have 1 snowplow in the city cause they are SLOW to plow the roads. Last year, I got stuck at the intersection of 27th and 395. I stopped at a red light and the roads were solid ice. There is a small hill at that light. I had to drop my truck into 4LOW to get out. It was quite embarassing to be in a huge 4wd and get stuck. Yesterday, my neighbor (who "should" be an older resposible adult) came flying around the corner by my house slipping and sliding and laughing and just screwing around and almost ran over me and my kids sledding in the road. I told him to slow down and be careful and he stopped and said, "atleast you would have been run over by a friend" I wasn't too happy. I lOVE the snow...I just hate people who act stupid in the snow!

Be careful out there, especially on the Blue bridge.

I get angry with people who drive like that as well down residential streets but you were SLEDDING IN THE ROAD. If you want to keep your children safe you should be sledding in your yard, a park, school ground, etc... and not on a road.

As far as road conditions. I have driven in all three cities over the past two days and the road conditions were very good. Today might be a different story with all of the fresh snow though. The freeways have been nice to drive on. I've seen many plows out there.

I spend most of my time in north Richland and the roads here were fine yesterday, mostly clear. This morning the side roads were covered in snow again but the bypass looked fine. The only place I had any sliding was coming off a side street up a slight incline after stopping at a red light. I slid a little until I got to the main road, then I straightened out.

Default Worst Intersections

I would have to say, the intersection where 225 North Ends at Hwy 240 coming out of Benton City, and Hanford Route 10 Starts. Loose pea gravel and ice build up along the road sides, because the only time poeple cross it, is during the daily Hanford rush hours.
