Would your son be interested in playing in Utah in our AAU tournament in Salt Lake City over Martin Luther King Day (the tournament is Jan. 16, 17 and 19)? Please let me know. I coach the Thunder 8th Grade Boys AAU team and we have won an AAU tournament (the Summer Shoot-out in Salt Lake City, July, 2008). We'd like to have your boy play with us if he's interested. My e-mail is: bgephart@apremis.com.

135 pounds i dont think he can compete with centers like me.. If its High AAU level basketball you are talking about then it might not workout at any position. 135 pounds more like a small guard or a 2 guard.

There's a national web site I've seen mentioned on the web called weplay.com that might list a team. And if you have a team (not just basketball) you could post it on there probably. I'm not affiliated with it, just thought I'd mention it...

Just moved from St. Louis and my son was involved with the best and most quality program for skills and collegiate development. St. Louis Basketball Academy.

Dennis Beckett runs the program and the website is www.stlbball.com They have a GREAT program and several AAU in house teams as well as other AAU connections.

If you want your son to get better and play against the best St. louis Basketball Academy is the place. My son had never played and Dennis was the only one to accept him as a seventh grader. He is now the starting point guard on the sixth rank team in TX 4A as a freshman. I'm sold on Dennis and the Basketball Academy but you can decide for yourself.
