Is the Eurofoods the one on that side street near GESA and the bus center? I've driven by it a zillion times but never stopped in. Yes, that's the place, give them a try, I think you would like them.
The health food store, I'm assuming you mean the one on Vista a little south of Aqua Tropics and across from Goodwill? Shopped there a few times, especially for sugar free candy to give my wife for V-day.

This and the one next to Safeway on G-Way are, IIRC, the same business. For the size town we are in, I think they are not bad.

Yeah, they seemed to me to do okay. I'm not much of a granola guy but there are times when it's handy to have a place like that.

I would LOVE a whole foods here in the Tricities
I just finished my degree in Santa Fe, New Mexico, where I got acquainted with Whole Foods stores.... they are absolutely awesome! If one were opened here, I'd head over the MOMENT I found out about it.
Tricities needs a real, organic foods oriented market here. When I got home a few weeks ago, I was dismayed to find that the nearest Whole Foods stores are in Vancouver and Portland.... although I'm planning to stop by and do some shopping for quality food on my way home next month when visiting my nephew in Estacada.
I'd much rather have a whole foods here to do my grocery shopping. They simply ROCK!

Does anyone have the email to request a Trader Joes in the area. Their website drives me nuts.
Thanks!

I'm tempted to support this just to watch the local reaction to the concept. Normally, around here, saying "I would like more granola shopping options" is only slightly more popular than saying "nuclear energy is very unsafe" or "take down all the dams". Suppose one of these types of groceries (Trader Vic's, Whole Foods, there might be more) set up shop here. We might actually find out we had more granola types than we realized. We might even end up with a more organized granola movement, good tye-dye shops, sulfite-free wineries, and so on. I'm not being sarcastic in any way; I think the experiment would be revelatory and probably healthy for us.

Not enough tree-huggers here to entice WF or TJs. Plus I heard a couple reasons we won't get them is 1. Near nuclear plant, 2. Median income levels not high enough. Just what I heard.

You've got my vote for Whole Foods. I'll be moving there soon.

Trader Joe's busiest store in WA (I'm told) is in Bellingham. A much smaller market to be sure.

Trader Joe's may carry only organic (mostly anyway) foods, but they're anything but expensive. Their cheeses, dairy, produce, coffee, tea, canned goods, nuts, breads, frozen foods, produce, sauces, salsas, and snack foods are top quality and very reasonably priced.
Aside from the 2 buck chuck, their wine prices aren't very good. Can't comment on their beer prices since I don't drink beer any more.
Their meats and fresh seafood are weak. (Their frozen meats and seafood are excellent)
