Default Best places for struggling Americans to start over

Im vaguely suprised no one noticed this, but we are 3rd on the list! Our economy really is doing pretty well compared to the rest of the nation. National recognition that should help the area grow more. What do you think about this? Do you think it will help the area?

Yakima's on the list too. I don't know, do we need more people who are struggling when we have plenty of them? I would hope we could attract more of the bootstraps kind of folks.

People should know before they land in WA that University funding and healthcare funding has been slashed, so unless you're a nurse, those two sectors are not hiring.

Yeah, I'm not sure how much stock we should put in any report that cited Yakima as a great place to do anything legal.

City-data.com crime indices for 2007 (higher is worse):

Kennewick: 294.5
Richland: 198.6
Pasco: 301.6

Yakima: 574.1

Feel free to look up the actual crime breakdowns comprising those stats, to get a better idea.

Well I don't know as it's mostly based on a metro's number of companies planning to hire for new jobs soon and possibly average home prices. But I just realized I forgot to post a link to what I'm talking about.
