Smile Moving to Richland need basketball team for my 11 year old daughter
I will be moving to Richland at the end of August and I am looking for an AAU basketball team for my 11 year old daughter. She has played AAU both leauge and tournament teams for 4 years, basketball is her passion so I would really like to find her a team for the upcoming season.

I found this post about youth basketball there. It's outdated, but I'm betting that if you call the number they mentioned, they would know where to send you. Good luck helping her pursue her passion. There should be middle school hoops there, and later high school. Richland has a good amount of civic spirit and really likes its school teams.

The city of Richland has youth basketball in the winter, starting around January I think. I didn't see anything on their parks and rec page but I did find the contact person for youth athletics:

Contact the Inland Empire AAU out of Yakima ... there are a few tournament teams in the area!!

City of Richland has youth basketball but only through 6th grade I believe. After that she'd play school ball. That's my understanding.
