Default Could someone define life in the 'Tri-Cities'?

I'm a bit surprised this area has it's own forum, as I hear of just about everywhere else but this region.

What differentiates it? What makes it a bit more unique to warrant it's own forum?

What is the life like for those who call this area home?

not many use this forum as compared to all the others, but it's nice that's it's on here! Not sure how it got started, but my guess would be Hanford. I know the ONLY reason we are here is because my hubby got an awesome job at Hanford about 5 yrs ago. We both NEVER wanted to live in WA even though we both grew up in WA. It's so expensive here and there are other places that we'd rather be. But, you make the best of where you are! There's not a whole lot to do, but the RIVER is fantastic. We are out there as much as we can be in the summer time!!! We like it OK, but don't love it here. We make do with what we have and hope that in a few yrs opportunity will take us another direction.
