I am having serious problems, I am living in the very edge of West Richland (Right next to Wiley Elementary) and I seem to only be able to get SuddenLink and ClearWire for ISP's (Even though people 1 mile away can get Verizon) and that limits me to 2.0MB/s between those two.(Yes, thats fastest possible in my area between the two, Suddenlink offers 5MB/s but they said I cannot get it in my specific area) I was wondering if anybody knows anyone who lives right next to Wiley Elementary, or personally lives there that knows of another ISP that provides high speed internet in the area. 2.0MB/s just isn't fast enough for my needs. Thanks.

Does Charter serve your area? I have 20mbps with them in Kennewick.

I had Clearwire in the past. Painfully slow... especially when they throttle your bandwidth down if you dl too much. They also block VOIP, torrents.

Talk to Benton REA, the Powernet service is available in your area I think. It's relatively expensive, but the service is first-rate, very little down time.

Worth a call anyway.

You should also look into pocketinet.

I think you are going to pay a premium in your area for reliable/fast service.
